Brah is provided by Crown Student Consultancy (CSC) UK Ltd, trading as Ferrolo (company number 14324057, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ), referred to here as “we”, “us” and “our”. Questions about this document go to brah@ferrolo.com.
1. These terms
These terms apply when you download, install or use Brah, and when you use this website. By doing so you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Brah.
2. What Brah is
Brah is an app for the Mac. It can see your screen, listen, speak, point at things and, when you ask it to, click and type. Brah is an interface. It does not include an AI service. You bring your own.
3. Your accounts and services
You choose the AI and voice services that Brah talks to. You use your own accounts, keys and servers. You are responsible for them, for what they cost, and for following their terms and policies.
These services can change, stop or block access at any time. Brah is not affiliated with them. Their names belong to their owners.
4. What you send
When you ask a question, Brah sends a picture of your screen, your question and the recent conversation to the service you chose. Your screen can show private things. You decide what is on your screen when you ask, and you are responsible for what you send.
5. Actions on your screen
Brah acts on your screen only when you ask it to, and you can stop it at any time. In Auto mode, Brah asks before risky actions. In Bypass permissions mode, which only you can turn on, Brah does not stop to ask, and the AI decides what needs your yes. AI makes mistakes. It can click or type the wrong thing. You are responsible for what you let Brah do.
6. The trial and your licence
Brah is free to try for 7 days. After that you need a licence key. A licence is one payment, with no subscription, taken by Stripe. How you may use a key is set out in the end user licence.
We do not give refunds, unless Brah does not work. If it does not work for you, email brah@ferrolo.com. Your rights as a consumer are not affected.
7. Use it fairly
Use Brah lawfully. Do not use it to harm other people, to watch people without their consent, or to break the rules of the services you connect.
8. No promises
Brah is provided “as is”. We do not promise that it works without errors, that it suits your purpose, or that an AI answer is correct. Do not rely on Brah for advice that needs a professional.
9. Our responsibility
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from the services you connect, from AI output, or from actions you let Brah take. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not let us limit, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes and ending
We can update these terms. The new terms apply when they are published here, or when you install an update. We can end your licence if you break these terms. You can stop at any time by removing Brah.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts can decide disputes, unless the law of your country gives you the right to use your own courts.
